Cardboard boxes are the cheapest vessel for transporting your good. If they are sturdy enough, they should be able to hold a good amount of weight. Books, DVDs, pots and pans – all reasonably small objects can be transported in cardboard boxes. You can get them for free if you ask nicely in any large supermarket. Failing that, ask around to see if family or friends have any spare. If you still can’t get your hands on any, you can buy them for an incredibly low price on the internet.

Plastic containers
Although plastic containers are cheaper than cardboard boxes, they are also much more structurally sound and durable. You can also use them for storage in your new home. You can buy them for a modest price at any good hardware or office supply store.
